Accessibility statement

This website was created for the Major Project module, as part of the MA in Web Design and Content Planning at the University of Greenwich. As part of the project, we aimed to ensure as many people as possible can access our content.

The site has been designed with a mobile-first approach. This begins with a layout intended for screens at a minimum width of 320px. We have built the site using semantic HTML5 and CSS for styling. This means that if your device cannot load the CSS, you should still be able to access the content. JavaScript has been used on the site, but if you have Javascript blocked or your device is unable to load it, you should still be able to access the site’s content.

We have structured site pages with semantic elements such as header, navigation, main and footer which may help you navigate its content easier. Images are described with text equivalents, and the site’s colours were chosen to ensure sufficient colour contrast. There’s also a “Skip to main content” link on every page, which you can read more about in the Access Key Details below.

We’ve designed this site to ensure that as many people as possible can access it. However, if you find any issues, then please get in touch! We’d like to try and fix any problems where possible.

Access Key Details

The following access key details are available throughout the site.

Different browsers use different keystrokes to activate access keys. Common Windows browsers generally use SHIFT + ALT + the access key. Common Mac browsers generally use SHIFT + OPTION + the access key. Please see the MDN’s article on access keys for further details.
